Evolving the concept of traditional cuisine, resulting in our culinary proposal. An author’s cuisine with products from the Aran Valley. Already in 2002, we moved the restaurant to the current location, decorated with wooden areas and ceiling, a mountain atmosphere with a fireplace in the main lounge. During the day, large windows in each room let natural light penetrate, and at night, ceiling lights illuminate the tables, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.
We were group of people and seated to the room next to main, though the main room was almost empty throughout the evening. Food had big portions and mostly was delicious. Unfortunately the fish was over salted. Waiters were not able to explain any food nor the drinks. What we didn’t like was the waiters rushed us and there was no break between the starters and a main course…. At 22:15 they switched off the music and clearly gave a sign we should leave. We made a big nice bill yet we were not even offered a basic digestive. I wouldn’t much recommend this place if you want to have a nice enjoyable slow evening. Rush, rush, rush…
It's very tasty here. So much that I told my chef husband that I taste better here than at home. And he was not even offended, but agreed with me. 😁 This is 5 stars!
They have a menu and a la carte. Menu is lot cheaper.
Set menu for 17-25euros or order from a small singles dishes selection menu. Service was very nice by one of the waiters, but one waiter was in a rush all the time making us feel uncomfortable. No dish recommendation was given from the waiter. We order paella and they didn’t serve it for us which is something restaurants usually do and the didn’t give us wet towels for the hands either. Most dishes tasted good, but some needed salt.
