4 of us stayed at Hotel Vielha Val d'Arán for 2 nights during September. We did not dine here as we wanted to explore the area. This hotel is a quiet and welcoming place, with a large - no cost - public car park adjacent to the hotel. There is also an underground car park. Guests can enjoy spectacular views of the mountains and the valley. A mountain river flows alongside. We had booked the hotel because it's in the centre of town enabling us to easily walk and access restaurants, shopping etc. The staff were professional and welcoming providing an excellent service. The reception area is beautifully presented with various sofas and armchairs for guests to relax. They have a pool table and the large windows, provide plenty of natural light. Our room was comfortable and relatively spacious, with a safe, air conditioning unit, plenty of cupboards, and hooks on the wall for coats. The bathroom had a walk in shower, bidet, toiletries, 2xdressing gowns slippers and a hair dryer. A kettle, coffee maker and supplies were available. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. To use the pool area there is a €5 pp charge. Loungers are set up with towels, you can enjoy a range of refreshments. There is a jacuzzi, steam and sauna room. A timetable for the pool area allows guests with families, time to enjoy the space separately. One of our party used the gym, apparently it had everything he required and he had the room to himself. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.
Good place in a nice city. Everything was ok except that we could hear noise coming from other rooms. There is a smell when the snack bar is opened but it was overall ok.
The hotel is pretty good, a little bit outdated but the staff makes up for all the minuses. Especially the staff from the dining area/restaurant starting with Fabian and allt he way to the meat guy behind the grill plate. Also the cleaning personnel does an an amazing job taking into consideration that there are duplex apartments. The personnel is golden and keeping the stars of the hotel.
