Camping place itself is good though a bit pricey. Washing is possible but costs 10€ with drying. Sadly, it was not possible to charge a powerbank over night as I had wished. Essential for me as a hiker. Didn't feel like I was treated very friendly there.
Location in Arties is good, and restaurent is decent. We rented a bungalow for about 125 Euro pr night, and its condition did by no means justify the price. Amenities were run down and not well maintained, and kitchen equipment was lacking and in bad condition. All in all usable, but for the price it was well below expectations.
Well situated for excursions and tourism. Nice, but small, pitches next to the river, where the noise from the traffic on the main road is lessened by the sound of water. The services can be some way from some pitches, and might not be enough if the camping was full (not my case though). The hot water in the washing up facilities runs out early in the day, thanks to some campers who have the habit of leaving the tap open on hot when washing up. There should be push taps with a shut off to avoid this. Good showers, but cramped. Looks like a nice pool, but I didn't use it, but if you have kids might be useful. Bar and restaurant, but I can't comment on quality of food, as again I didn't use it. The camping is conveniently right next to the village, which, like most in this valley, has been converted into a false disneylandish ideal of a mountain village, along with plastic cows and psuedo vintage bicycles with flower baskets, and there are lots of rather expensive restaurants. Overall, a good quiet site, but overly priced considering the few facilities and size of pitches (our caravan barely fitted).
