We are a bar restaurant founded over 30 years ago. Located in Vielha e Mijaran, at Bar Restaurant A’Queimada, we offer you food of excellent quality. We work with fresh and carefully selected products. Since our inception, we have always aimed to improve customer service, making them feel comfortable and welcomed like at home. What our customers value most is the family-like treatment and the type of cuisine that is completely traditional and homemade, without falling into the routines of many restaurants. One of our specialties is seafood, provided it is ordered in advance.
We offer bar service, coffees, breakfasts, and vermouths. We have a spacious area of tables at the entrance and a long bar where you can comfortably enjoy a drink. We have a generous dining room where we serve meals and homemade dinners with a daily menu, and even by request. We cater to meals or dinners for companies, friends, celebrations, etc. Visit us; we have competitive prices.
Had to wait a while for a table as we arrived during lunch rush. Seems more a local than a tourist place and the food was great!
The food here is decent. Some of it was really good (delicious trinchat and peras al vino) and some was just passable. The service from one server was friendly. The other was impatient. I know she was really busy, but her impatience was apparent. The atmosphere is very local, which I like. Lots of workers on their lunch break and families. The only problem was how crowded the tables are in the dining room. It was impossible to move from our table in the back without asking another person to get up and having to almost climb over another. The prices are a little high for the food quality (we had the menú del día for €13) for most of Spain, but inexpensive for the Aran Valley. All in all it was okay and we would probably give it another try.
What an amazing surprise this little gem is! The potage is succulent and the roasted chicken is out if this world. Basic environment with home made cooking at another level. Will be back!
Good quality food/price
Homemade food! Hearty dishes. Menu for only €15. I recommend the homemade cake, delicious! The lady is very attentive, they handle allergies very well, adapting the menu perfectly. Thank you very much.
